How I understand Californians.

I’ve made my final bitter conclusions about Californians. The super expensive luxury cars and sports cars drive like they own the whole world. Street lights, stop signs, pedestrians, and old cars must not exist in this secret manual that come with these cars. They cut me off and I think “Aw hell no. Who do they think they are?” Then, I drive my mom’s or brother’s car and I swerve through all those rusty old cars thinking, “What a waste of space!”

Then there are those times when we drive around the beach area complaining how many bikes are on the road riding, around like they own the whole goddamn place. I have argued several times wishing that just one day I could hit one of those damn bikers to put them in their place. Funnily enough, today I biked around the beach on the designated bike lane annoyed how many fucking cars don’t bother yielding when you have right away. I remember distinctly thinking, “Fucking cars drive like they own the whole road!” Bikers aren’t even friendly towards other bikers either. If someone is behind you on their 10 speed bike while you’re cruising along on your 1 speed beach cruiser they bitterly mutter, “Move!” or “Watch it!” Apparently, a simple “excuse me” is out of the question. Then you yourself run into a group of slow slow slow bikers and you make a dramatic swerve around them to make sure they know that you’re annoyed.

So in conclusion, I am SURE I am not the only one that feel this way or else people would act/drive like they do. So in California, I feel like I am caught in this all-alpha, hypocritical, douchebaggery cycle. It’s like a constant silent battle between cars and bikes, cars and other cars, and bikes and other bikes.

I’m surprised more people haven’t died.
