I hate when people wearing something interesting sits in front of me. Especially when it’s within my direct line of sight. It’s not because it blocks the chalkboard or distracts me, but because I get this INTENSE urge to want to touch it.
A couple of weeks ago, this guy was sitting in front of me wearing jacket with the furriest hood I’ve ever seen. So of course, after resisting for a good 30 minutes, I decide to touch and pat it a little without him noticing. Austin, who was sitting next to me, and the people sitting behind me were apparently extremely confused and freaked out by my action. Oops.
Last week, I notice this girl come into the lecture hall wearing an extremely glittery top. I mean, seriously, the glitter was floating everywhere. AND OF COURSE, she sits right in front of me. Learning from my mistake of touching the furry hood last time, I resisted the temptation. I can honestly say, I had no notes written on my paper because I spent all my time resisting to touch it.
TODAY, a Korean girl sits in front of me in math lecture wearing a hair tie decorated with a bunch of colorful balls. (Damn Koreans and their adorable accessories.) I had no idea what happened in lecture today.
So thanks a lot guys,
I’m always going to sit in the very front row from now on.
That’s why you should be...Very uninteresting. Like English.
